Sunday mornings

Agape Class (God's Love) -

A mixture of adults in their 20s to 40s with children of all ages and without, this laid back class enjoys studying a variety of lessons that apply to everyday life. Class discussions are on how God's love works around us and how we should have a better personal relationship with Him. Bynum Ensor leads study, and they are located on the first floor of the main building, close to the children Sunday school rooms.

Cornerstone Class -

The Cornerstone class is a diverse group of middle aged married and single persons. A team of teachers rotate weekly with scripture based lessons from a Bristol House series, and the class meets in the Family Life Center. The group enjoys fellowship, food and fun. To share Jesus Christ in the community, they offer assistance to people in need, are active in Backpack Buddies and sponsor a family every Christmas. Contact Joyce Boggan for more information.

Joy Class - Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last

The JOY Class began in 1954, and is mainly made of seniors but is open to all. Meeting at 9:45 in the parlor of our main church building, this class follows the UMC publishing house curriculum. Joy members enjoy serving others through Leeds Outreach, our youth group, and other church projects. Class members deliver are active serving meals on wheels, taking flowers to shut-ins, and singing in the choir.

Seeker Class -

The Seekers Sunday school class is small adult study group consisting of enthusiastic members who enjoy learning about Christian beliefs and history. As the name implies, The Seekers class yearns to develop a better understanding of God's plan for us and how we can become His true disciples. The Seekers meet each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. in The Seekers classroom in the Family Life Center. Studies are usually short duration and lead by class members. Past studies have included works such as the Companion in Christ series, Three Months with John by Justo l. Gonzalez, and Traveling the Prayer Paths of Jesus.
